Deniece Pearson is a Brit Award-winning singer, songwriter, producer and Grammy nominee best known as the lead vocalist of FIVE STAR. During the 1980s and early 1990s, the group became one of Britain's biggest pop success stories, achieving over 20 UK Top 30 singles, including chart hits 'System Addict', 'The Slightest Touch' and 'Rain Or Shine'. They were the first Black group to win the BRIT Award for Best Pop Group and became the youngest British pop act to achieve a number one album.
Following FIVE STAR's success, Deniece built an accomplished career across music, theatre and television. She co-wrote 'Strike' with Ryan Tedder, performed in West End productions including 'Thriller Live' and 'Respect La Diva', supported The Jacksons on their UK 'UNITY' tour and released her debut solo album 'Imprint' in 2014.
After returning to releasing new music in 2023, Deniece scored chart success with singles including 'Forever Young' and 'Santa Claus Is Coming'. Her self-written and self-produced album 'Free-Queen-See' marks a bold new chapter, showcasing a blend of pop, reggae and R&B alongside themes of spirituality, manifestation and empowerment.
