Astral Plane is a roaming electronic music festival built to follow the shadow of the moon, combining world-class music programming with some of the most extraordinary celestial events on Earth. Conceived as a celebration of both culture and science, the festival brings together leading artists, immersive experiences and educational programming in locations positioned directly within the path of total solar eclipses.
Its inaugural edition, Astral Plane: Total Eclipse Festival, takes place at La Pinilla Mountain Resort in Segovia, Spain during the historic total solar eclipse of August 2026 - the first total solar eclipse to cross Europe this century. Featuring performances from electronic music pioneers and underground innovators including Kevin Saunderson, Ellen Allien, DJ Stingray 313, Luke Slater, Ben Sims, Nicole Moudaber, Gerd Janson, Mano Le Tough and Lilly Palmer, the festival is anchored by a special eclipse set aligned with the moment of totality.
Alongside music across three stages, Astral Plane will also present talks and workshops exploring the scientific and cultural significance of the eclipse. Central to the festival's ethos is its One Ticket, One Tree initiative, through which a tree will be planted in La Pinilla or the surrounding nature reserves for every ticket sold, helping to support and preserve the landscape that makes the event possible.
